AulaLive Platform — Governing the terms of use, rights, and responsibilities of our host users and partners.
Welcome to the AulaLive platform (accessible at: https://aulalive.net). By using or registering on the platform, you fully and unconditionally agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
Your use of the AulaLive platform or the creation of an account constitutes your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. To use our services, you must have the full legal capacity to contract under applicable laws.
2. Description of Service
AulaLive is a platform specialized in hosting live meetings, online classes, and virtual workshops, powered by BigBlueButton and LiveKit technologies. The platform allows registered users (Hosts) to create rooms and generate join links to share with participants (Guests) for instant connection, without the need for guests to create an account.
3. Registration & Account Protection
To create rooms and host meetings, users must register and create an account.
A) Accuracy of Data:
Users agree to provide accurate and correct information (Name and Email) during registration.
B) Confidentiality of Account:
The user is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and password, as well as for all activities that occur under their account. Using other users' accounts without permission is forbidden.
4. Acceptable Use & User Conduct
When using the platform, users agree to:
- Not use the platform for any illegal purposes or in violation of the laws and regulations in force in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
- Not transmit or publish any content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, or that is defamatory, threatening, abusive, or morally inappropriate.
- Not attempt to breach the platform's infrastructure, disrupt the servers, or use any harmful software tools.
- Not impersonate any individual or entity.
5. Intellectual Property
We respect intellectual property and expect the same from our users:
A) Platform Ownership:
All intellectual property rights related to the AulaLive platform, its design, logos, and software belong to the platform administration.
B) User Content Ownership:
Users retain ownership of all content they share or present during live stream sessions (such as presentations, files, and images).
6. Recordings & Session Privacy
AulaLive servers do not store or save any live streams, live chats, or content presented during sessions. The platform provides a "Local Recording" feature (Client-Side Recording). When activated by the host, the recording and processing take place entirely on the user's browser and personal device. The user bears full responsibility for saving and using these recordings in compliance with applicable laws and protecting the privacy of participants.
7. Payments, Subscriptions & Pricing
Paid services on AulaLive are subject to the following terms:
A) Sofiz Pay Payment Gateway:
Payments are processed in Algerian Dinars (DZD) using the available payment methods (CIB card or Edahabia card) via the secure Sofiz Pay payment gateway.
B) Payment Data Security:
AulaLive does not store or save any payment card details or financial transaction information of users on its servers. All such data is processed directly and in encrypted form by the Sofiz Pay payment gateway.
C) Non-Refundable Subscriptions:
Subscriptions are non-refundable except in exceptional cases decided by the platform administration.
8. Service Continuity & Limitation of Liability
AulaLive administration strives to ensure the platform operates at the highest efficiency and stability, providing an excellent and smooth live streaming experience. Due to the technical nature of the internet, we do not guarantee that the service will be entirely free from temporary interruptions, but we commit to prompt action to resolve any issues. AulaLive shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from temporary service interruptions or due to problems with the speed and quality of the user's internet connection.
9. Termination & Account Suspension
AulaLive reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate the account of any user, and prevent them from using the platform in the event of a violation of these Terms of Use, without prior notice or financial liability.
10. Modification of Terms
AulaLive reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The updated version will be published on this page with the updated last modified date. Your continued use of the platform constitutes implicit acceptance.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. The Algerian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
